Our Mission & Faith

Our Mission

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. [Isaiah 61:1-3]

Jesus is a healer, a deliverer & savior!

We want people to experience that power!

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus Christ through the teaching and preaching of the Gospel that they may personally encounter the power of the Holy Spirit down in their soul, so undeniably that they will never forget the experience and proclaim with full assurety that He is Lord!

Articles of Faith

1. We believe the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our belief.

2. We believe the Holy Bible is without any error, the all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

3. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

4. We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate.

5. We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and therefore lost. Only through confession with the mouth, belief in the heart and regeneration by the working of the Holy Spirit can man’s salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

6. We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

7. We believe in a regenerated church membership: that is, persons old enough to understand their need for Jesus Christ and, of their own free will, accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

8. We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord’s Supper is a sacrament to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man’s salvation.

9. We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while waiting for His return.

10. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.

11. We believe the sacrament of marriage to be a holy matrimony, a lasting covenant and commitment of a man and a woman to a lifelong partnership, established for the good of each other and the procreation of their children. In accordance with the Holy Word of our Lord in Genesis 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

12. We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization.
